Pictures of baby Boy!

Here's our pictures :) Baby wouldn't roll over to get a good profile picture.
Feet:

Looking at face:

All of baby :)his hand was waving in front of his face, so that's a little blurry, but I love how you can see his legs curled up and everything :)

And, sharing another purchase :) I got these (The top pair only) off ebay for pretty cheap! I want more than one pair, but I limited myself to one pair for now and I want to see if they're something I could make myself. (These are just cute pants, not longies or anything :) )

Sharing what may become my addiction...

So you all know how much I'm into cloth diapers. Well, I decided that for this time around, I wanted to try some fitted diapers and covers. (For Jessi, we've always used diapers that are an all-in-one with the cover.) So I've been looking at Longies and drooling over them for some time now. If you want to know what Longies are, read below. If not, just skip to the pictures ;)

"What are longies?

Longies are hand knit wool pants for children and babies. Mothers knit longies for their children before they could buy disposable diapers or rubber pants. They are worn during the day as cute pants or at night as snuggly pajamas.

Wool naturally regulates the body temperature making it an excellent choice for children. It does that by absorbing vapor from the skin and releasing it into the air. Wools ability to breathe further regulates body temperature by preventing sudden and extreme temperature changes. It is a natural choice for your baby’s layette.

Wool longies provide amazing leak protection - especially over night. Because wool wicks moisture away from the body it will help keep your child dry, even when the diaper leaks. You will be amazed how lanolized wool will keep your baby swaddled and warm while keeping the sheets dry until the morning.

Wool is surprisingly easy to care for. You will notice that even liquid spills cannot easily penetrate the fibers. That is because wool is water repellent to protect the sheep’s delicate skin. Wool can be wiped clean and does not need to be washed after every use. It is also nearly wrinkle resistant so it is always ready to be worn."

A girl in my pregnancy group was offering specials to knit longies for people, so I got some wool and sent it to her. Here's what she made for me! (I picked the girly wool before I knew we were having a boy.. so those longies are now going to be for Jeanne's little girl!)

But that's not all... A while back she shared a picture of these cute things that she made and was selling. I instantly fell in love with them and couldn't stop thinking about them. So when we found out we were having a little boy, I just had to get them. So I sold some stuff I won't need anymore and finally got enough money to buy these. Don't ask how much they were! Lol! And I know what my mom is going to say (Again!) "You need to learn how to knit"... I know, I know. But I don't have time right now and these were just too cute! Check them out!

Can't you just see our little guy in them? I can't wait to get them in the mail now!

Finally, an update!!

I feel like it's been forever! Lol!

Friday the 3rd... spend the evening over at Jon & Sara's. Had some s'mores and watched the neighbors fireworks :D

On the 4th we went to a new pack that was really cool. Jessi got to play for awhile and then we went to the fireworks display in Moorhead. Wyatt feel asleep even though they were pretty loud!

We're having alot of fun with Relyssa here :) She's been a big help to me too. I've been having horrible headaches and some really bad Sciatic nerve pain, so it's nice having someone around to help with stuff when I feel like I just can't do anymore.

We had our ultrasound last Thursday... As most of you know now, we're having a BOY!
You can color me shocked since I thought for sure we were having another little girl :D Now off to the little world of blues and greens and trucks and dinosaurs.... Lol!
