It is so BEAUTIFUL there! I have only been twice, I would love to get that direction again!
Hope you had a happy birthday!

What is the neckless that you are wearing?

Also, I was wanting to ask you if you've ever heard of gdiapers and what you think of them. They have a website at www.gdiapers.com

Jeanette, the necklaces are an amber one ~helps with my headaches- I got it before I was pregnant And a hazlewood one ~Helps with heartburn, nausea, acid reflex & migraines- bought after I got pregnant! I decided to wait and wear the hazlewood one until I started getting symptoms and when I started getting really bad heartburn & nausea, I started wearing it... As long as I'm wearing it, I never have heartburn or bad nausea (I havn't thrown up yet!) but as soon as I take it off, it comes back.

I have heard of gdiapers.. I've been wanting to try some but havn't really had an excuse to! It might be a good option for us at convention though since I don't have enough cloth to last the whole time without washing. As far as the green factor, I think they're pretty green.

Oh and if you guys ever get to the farm again, you'll have to let us know.. maybe we can meet you there sometime.

Jeanette-I've read lots of reviews of gdiapers and it seems that either they fit well or you have a lot of leaks. Also I've read some pretty compelling arguments against them being very green. They are flushable but than a waste water treatment facility has to deal with them. Also heard that they can take multiple flushes to get down which would waste water. Before taking them to convention I'd check to see how they deal with sewage cause they might cause a problem if the system can't handle a lot. Just my thoughts. Jeanette--if you are worried about the ease of cloth diapering I would recommend some pockets (bumgenius 2.0) have great reviews and are really easy to use. They are expensive but will fit your baby from 8-30lbs and they really do. And I found that the poop pretty much just rolled right off of them and was much less gross then I thought it would be. Anyway this is a bit of a hijack so sorry Dalayna.

Thanks Helen! I don't think I would buy any just for conv. or anything because I've lived without them this long... And yes, the pocket diapers are VERY easy. I like the Bum Genius' the best (The one-size ones) I'm hoping to get a diaper sprayer before the baby comes to use that on baby poop that doesn't roll off. You hook it up to your toilet and just spray the poop into the toilet. It really is super easy.
One of the best things I like about cloth diapers is that there is no running to the store when you realize you're out of diapers!

I considered a sprayer also but figure that might be just a little too tempting for a certain little boy in this house. His own personal sprayer is bad enough in the bathroom. But they sound handy--have fun with yours!!
